The band will play at the Yad Eliahu sports auditorium on June 14, 2016.
"It has been 20 years since we last appeared in Israel and I still remember with great affection the amazing audience that we met there," said singer Mick Hucknall in an announcement distributed on Tuesday by impresario Shuki Weiss.
"We are very excited to return after all these years and are looking forward to seeing everyone next June."
Prices for the concert will start at 250 shekels.
Simply Red defined the British pop sound in the Eighties and early Nineties, selling over 50 million albums. Among its hits were "Stars," "Holding back the years" and "Something got me started."
Hucknall was the only remaining original member of the group when it disbanded in 2010, after 25 years. But it announced last year that it would get together for a final tour to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of its founding.
