Netflix released on Wednesday the first official trailer for “Hit and Run,” a new show by the creators of hit Israeli thriller “Fauda,” Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff.
The new show, Raz and Issacharoff’s first for the streaming giant, is an Israeli-American co-production, with two of the producers of “The Killing,” Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin, also on board.

Actor-writer Raz plays the main character, a former Shin Bet hitman whose wife, a dancer, is killed in a hit and run car accident in Tel Aviv.
The cast also features Lior Ashkenazi, “Fauda” veteran Moran Rosenblatt, as well as Sanaa Lathan and Gregg Henry.
“Hit and Run” was shot in both Israel and the United States. Filming in Tel Aviv had been put on hold last year for several months due to the coronavirus pandemic, but has since resumed, and the show is set to be released in the coming months.
