A member of an ultra-Orthodox community in Melbourne, Australia, was attacked outside a synagogue on Thursday.

In a video posted on Facebook by the Australian Jewish News, a man can be seen threatening an ultra-Orthodox Jew to "go back to Israel" outside the Adass Synagogue in the St. Kilda suburb of Melbourne.
The assailant then shoved the ultra-Orthodox man, who tackled him to the ground with the help of others and held him there until a policeman arrived.
The attacker was charged with two counts of assault, an account of criminal damage and an account of theft. He attacked the ultra-Orthodox man after community members confronted him about allegedly taking a scooter from outside the synagogue, according to the Australian Jewish News.
