The easiest recipe on the planet, with just 3 ingredients – seared florets of cauliflower flavored with olive oil and salt.

You can serve it next to the main course such as chicken or steamed rice or just itself as a healthy and light meal.

It's vegan, easy to make and tastes amazing. Give it a try.

1 head cauliflower, to fit in your pan

Olive oil

Course salt

1.   After removing the stem from the cauliflower, break it up into bite-sized florets (¾ - 1¼ inch). Place the florets in the pan. Add water until half their height, and drip a tablespoon or two of olive oil on top.

2.   Bring to the boil on a high flame, and shake the pan from time to time. When the water evaporates, the cauliflower will start to scorch and acquire a mild bonfire flavor. Shake the pan over and again until the cauliflower turns golden on all sides. Sprinkle with course salt. Serve hot.
