London School Vandalized With Swastikas Twice Within Week

The swastikas were drawn on the entrance and the message board of the school Jubilee Primary School, which is not Jewish, but in a heavily Orthodox neighborhood.

A London school was daubed twice with swastikas in separate incidents within a week.

Police are investigating the vandalism discovered Monday at the Jubilee Primary School in the Hackney borough’s Stoke Newington neighborhood, the Jewish Chronicle reported. Hackney has a large Orthodox Jewish population and is near the heavily haredi Orthodox neighborhood of Stamford Hill.

Swastikas had been found at the school, as well as on a private home in Stoke Newington, on Dec. 18.

The swastikas were drawn on the entrance and the message board of the school, which is not Jewish.

Shomrim, a volunteer community security group, said it was increasing its patrols in the neighborhood from twice a day to five times.
