Six women members of a Belgian feminist group poured fake blood on the floor of an airport in Liege, Belgium, to protest what they said was the airport transporting weapons to Israel, the RT news service reported.

An airport spokesman told the website that no arms are transported through the airport, and that the facility intended to file charges against the group, Liliths.

In the protest last week, the women spilled 100 liters (26.4 gallons) of a red substance on the cargo airport's floor to symbolize what they considered Israel's slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza, RT reported.

They displayed a banner saying "How many tons of weapons for so many liters of blood?"

Israel's seven-week conflict with Hamas in Gaza ended last Tuesday with a cease-fire.
