Swastika Painted on Berlin Memorial to Roma Killed by Nazis
The Nazi symbol and a German word meaning 'Gas them' was immediately scrubbed off the memorial.

A swastika has been painted on a monument in Berlin to Sinti and Roma people killed by the Nazis, the foundation that created the city-center memorial said Thursday.

The Nazi symbol and a German word meaning "Gas them" was immediately scrubbed off the memorial which was opened in 2012 in a city park close to the Holocaust memorial and a memorial for homosexual victims.
Up to 500,000 people were killed by the Nazis only because they belonged to traveller ethnic groups. Police are investigating.
