The Israeli pavilion for this year's Expo 2015 at the Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, entitled "Israel Introduces Itself," will be open to visitors from December 11-24 in Terminal 3.
The expo itself opens next year in Milan, but the Israeli exhibit is set to be on display one month prior, as part of an international project of the 140 countries taking part in the mass exhibition.
The Rome toward Expo international project will feature a collection of exhibits and conferences organized by each embassy of the 140 countries taking part in the Milan event.
The airport venue was chosen by the Israeli Embassy in Rome; the exhibit will divided into different sections to highlight what it believes to be Israel's strongest points: environment, agriculture, technology, food and tourism.
The exhibit is organized by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with Israel's Embassy, Israel's Tourism Office, KKL, El Al and the communication agency IsayWeb.
