Israels Yiddishpiel theater will be getting a new director this week, as actor and singer Sassi Keshet takes over the role of longstanding director Shmuel Atzmon-Wircer.
Keshet will begin his new job as soon as the theater's board approves the promotion on Thursday, though Atzmon-Wircer will continue to assist him during the transitional period.
