500 Grams pitted dates
½ Cup dry red wine
½ Cup sugar
¼ Cup brandy
½ Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 Cup walnuts
60 Cinnamon sticks
300 Grams white/dark chocolate
1. By hand, mix the dates, wine, sugar, brandy, ground cinnamon, and walnuts until they take on a dough-like consistency.
2. Make about 60 small balls from the mixture.
3. Insert a cinnamon stick into each one.
4. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, and dip each lollipop in the chocolate, and set it aside once coated with chocolate. There’s no need to put them in the refrigerator.
*Tip: You can also use prepared haroset.
