The Train Theater, Jerusalem. "Pirate in the Bath" and "The Rolling Doughnut" are among the puppet shows to be staged between Dec. 8 and Dec. 16. The theater, situated in the Liberty Bell Park, will also offer creative workshops.

Haifa, MadaTech (the National Museum of Science, Balfur 12 ). Over the holiday the museum will offer activities and lectures on the subject of light.

Holon Children's Museum. The museum will offer "Heroes and Miracles" workshops. The guides of the "Dialogue in the Dark" and "Invitation to Silence" courses will present children with the worlds of the blind and the deaf, through play, singing, and crafts.

The Center for Agricultural Tourism, Yair Station. Near Moshav Hatzeva in the Arava region, a tour will be offered in the footsteps of revolutionary desert inventions, unique species and more.

Bialik Compound, Tel Aviv. A tour of Bialik House on the subject of lights and treasures, a tour of Beit Ha'ir between darkness and light, inspired by Nachum Gutman's "Path of the Orange Peels," a lampshade workshop, and more.

Haifa Theater. "Gamdan the Dwarf," "The Lady from the Watermelon," "Merry Choir" and other children's plays will be staged as part of the "Sufgatron."

Holon Mediatheque. "Tsfardi the Frog," "The Jungle Book," "The Wizard of Oz" are among the plays to be staged over the holiday.

Omer Industrial Park. A drawing-in-the-dark workshop, a shadow theater play, and a puppet theater production are some of the activities planned for Dec. 11 - Dec. 13.

Tel Aviv Museum. Sculpting, painting, and mixed materials workshops and meet-the-artist sessions for children. Throughout the holiday.

Tefen Industrial Park. Storytelling sessions, origami workshops, an interactive exhibition about the wheel in art and in technology. All these and more, from Dec. 9 - 16.

Beit Lessin, Tel Aviv. A children's theater happening, including the plays "The Angel" and "The Bell Girl," will be held at the theater throughout the holiday.

Smolarz Auditorium, Tel Aviv. The Israeli Philharmonic and the "Moran" Choir will hold a concert on the 11th for the entire family. The program will include works by John Williams, Handel and more.

The Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv. Between the 9th and the 13th the museum will offer the "Looking for the Sun" task game, creative workshops, and the musical story "Joseph's Marvelous Coat."

The Tel Aviv Port. The Sea Works Treasure Race will take place on the 13th. The Race is held along a series of stations following the story of the first Hebrew port. Participation is free of charge, registration in advance on the Port's website.

Notzar Theater, Bat Yam. Between the 9th and the 11th the theater will offer circus, theater, and musical performances for the entire family.

Neve Shechter, Tel Aviv. A Jewish cabaret show with the Atar Trio and Ruth Levin will take place on Dec. 9th. On the 13th the center will offer a Hannukah family event on spinning tops.

Incubator Theater, Jerusalem. The "Tanach Show," combining acrobatics, pantomime, dance, and more, will be staged on Dec. 10 at Mazia House (18 Mesilat Yesharim ). On the 14th, the stand-up comedy show for children "Laughing" ("Ts'hokot" ) will be held at the same place.

The Marzipan Museum in Kfar Tavor. Throughout the holiday visitors can prepare spinning tops, doughnuts, and oil pitchers out of marzipan.

The Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. A theatrical family tour, "The Secrets of the Hasmoneans," the puppet theater "Little Red Riding Hood" and more will be held over the holiday.

The Farm in Tel Aviv (HaChava ). From Dec. 10 - 14 various activities will be offered, including decorating clay pitchers, preparing latkes, and making crowns.

Bloomfield Science Museum, Jerusalem. An exhibition on the life of scientist Alan Turing, an encryption workshop, a "Cube Circus" show and more will take place in the museum.

Beit Shmuel, Jerusalem. On Dec. 9 and 10 a tour will be held in the footsteps of songs and customs in the Zichron Moshe neighborhood, Ticho House, and more. Safed. Hanukkah lamp tour in the Old City, a klezmer show, a visit to the Doll Museum and more. From Dec. 8 - 16.

Tel Hai Industrial Park. A winter bird festival will take place between Dec. 9 - 16. It will include creative workshops, a happening, children's plays, and more.

Performing Arts Center, Herzliya. "The 16th Sheep," "Voca People," "Datia's Song Celebration," and other shows will be staged between Dec. 8 - 16.

Ein Gev Port. Until Dec. 16 the Port will hold the 8th Taste of the Kinneret Festival. A cruise on a ship, a tour on a train, wood workshops and other activities will be offered to the public.

Maayanot Park. In the foothills of Mount Gilboa and around the springs. Between Dec. 9 - 13 a guided oil lamp tour will be offered in an electric car throughout the park.
