Israel has become the cinderella story of the World Baseball Classic, an international baseball tournament held every four years which crowns the "World Champion" of baseball.
Team Israel, ranked 41st, won its second World Baseball Classic matchup Tuesday against the fourth-ranked Chinese Taipei, their second victory in 24 hours after defeating third-ranked South Korea.
Before the game the Israeli team took off their baseball caps for the Hatikvah, Israel's national anthem, showing off their matching kippot.
Israel will face Netherlands on Thursday at 5:30 A.M. Israel time in their final Pool A matchup. The top two teams from Pool A and Pool B advance to the next round, which will be played in Tokyo next week.
