WATCH: Minute-by-minute Footage of the Be'er Sheva Bank Shooting Spree

Israel Police releases tapes of Bank Hapoalim's security cameras that clearly show the assailant with his drawn weapon shooting one of the victims; four people died and one was seriously wounded in the attack.

Israel Police released video footage on Wednesday of the Be'er Sheva bank shooting that claimed the lives of four people and seriously wounded one on Monday.

Security cameras in the Bank Hapoalim branch caught the incident minute-by-minute, clearly showing Itamar Alon with his drawn weapon shooting one of the victims.

Alon appears in the video for the first time when he entered the bank for the second time that day, around 11:30 A.M. He first went into the bank two hours earlier, when the bank rejected his request to withdraw money. Alon can be seen arguing with one of the employees at the back of the branch.

At around 1:00 P.M., Alon can be seen holding a Glock after having shot the bank manager, his deputy and two clients and seriously wounding another person. The cameras then show Alon shooting one of the victims again and then walking around the bank and peering out the door of the main entrance.

Alon served as a Border Police officer in the 1990s. After his release from military service he worked as a security guard in several educational institutions in Be'er Sheva. In 2002, he received commendation from the city after helping to thwart a shooting attack by two terrorists.

One day after the incident, teh Public Security Ministry on Tuesday announced new rules to limit the number of guns in circulation. School security guards will have to turn in their weapons, which guarding firms will reissue at the start of the new school year. Licensed gun owners will have to store their weapon in a safe at home. Security companies must obtain special exemptions from being required to store a weapon when its bearer is off duty, only one gun license will be issued to any single individual and anyone applying to renew a gun license must show why they need a weapon.
