WATCH: Israeli Soccer Star Scores for Celtic With Long-range Thunderbolt
Ashdod-born Nir Bitton scored his side's second goal in a 2-2 draw against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
He may be officially described as a defensive midfielder, but Israeli international soccer player Nir Bitton was very much on the offensive during the Scottish Premiership clash against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night.
With the scores tied at 1-1, Bitton found himself 30 yeard from goal and, when the opposing defense opened up in front of him, he unleased a unstoppable right-foot shot into the top corner of the net to score the go-ahead goal.
Unfortunately for Bitton and Celtic, Kilmarnock grabbed a late equalizer from the penalty spot.
