Medics at Maccabi Herzliya’s second-tier meeting at home against Maccabi Ahi Nazareth failed to carry an injured player off the field an hour or so into the game.  The moment, which quickly spurred laughter, 'mirrored a similar incident in Greek football last October,' noted the Guardian

The injured player, Moamen Saleh, was loaded onto a stretcher after clutching his leg in pain, only to be quickly dropped multiple feet to the ground.  Frustrated with the situation, the team's captain picked up the injured player and carried him off the field, leaving the dumbfounded medics to sheepishly clear the field themselves.
