The Democrats, who convened a news conference to voice their displeasure with the series of events leading up to the speech, committed a series of verbal flubs in announcing their rancor.
Fallon had his audience roaring at the stutters and mispronunciations that peppered the Democrats’ event. Fallon also recalled actor John Travolta’s mispronunciation of singer Idina Menzel’s name at the 2014 Oscar ceremony.
