In the video, the female assailant, identified by Palestinian sources as Nof Ikab Abed al-Afar, said to be from the town of Ya'bad near Jenin, can be seen laying on the ground while a group stands around her. The attacker can be seen writhing and can be heard groaning in pain as the civilian filming can be heard cursing her. Another voice, likely that of a soldier, can be heard calling for a military medical team to be summoned.
One soldier was lightly wounded in the attack and evacuated to hospital. The critically wounded assailant was treated at the scene and later transferred to the Hillel Yaffeh Medical Center in Hadera, the army said.
Separate video footage recorded by the settlement's security cameras showed her approaching a group of soldiers getting off a bus. She stabbed one of them out of frame and then chased another man into the settlement. Another person chased her before she was shot out of frame.
