Vandals broke in to a special-needs preschool in Jaffa early Sunday, and scrawled a swastika and "death to Jews" on the walls. Police have opened an investigation.

Staff of the kindergarten noticed the writings and alerted the police.

Swastikas have been painted in a number of places in Tel Aviv in recent weeks. Last week police arrested a suspect, who is still being detained.

After the suspect was arrested, police said notebooks he had included hate speech, noting that the suspect also "embraced a physical likeness with one of the characteristics" of Adolf Hitler.
