Palestinian Stabs Two Security Guards in West Bank Industrial Park
One victim seriously wounded in attack, near Ariel; assailant shot dead.

Two security guards were stabbed on Thursday in an attack at an industrial park near the settlement of Ariel, in the West Bank. The attacker was killed.

The two victims, both security guards, were stabbed in the upper body. One of them suffered severe wounds and the other was moderately injured, Magen David Adom Chief Eli Bin said.
The assailant, a Palestinian man employed at the industrial park, was shot dead by the victims.
The two victims are fully conscious and receiving medical treatment at the scene and are being prepared to be transferred to hospital for further treatment.
Also on Thursday, an attack was thwarted near Hebron. A Palestinian man armed with a screwdriver attempted to stab soldiers at a checkpoint outside Hebron. The Israeli force shot and killed him.
On Wednesday, two Israelis died after a stabbing attack near the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem's Old City. Ofer Ben-Ari, a 46-year-old from Jerusalem, died of his wounds after being shot by police who were trying to take down the two Palestinian assailants.
The second man, Rabbi Reuven Biermacher of Kiryat Yaarim, 45, was seriously injured in the stabbing and later died of his wounds. Both assailants were shot by Border Police officers. Another person was seriously wounded in the stabbing. His condition has stabilized.
