In fact, Yasser Arafat was in the shower. The soldiers opened the bathroom door. Yasser Arafat Shkeir had just finished showering. He dressed quickly. He was frightened by the soldiers who had invaded his home, he recalls. The Israeli soldiers took him and his older brother Muatsam with them, along with the neighbor’s boy, Yazen Kados, who’s a year younger than Yasser Arafat, and Yazen’s father.
