Jerusalem Film Festival

July 25-August 4, Jerusalem

Israel’s most important annual film event showcases the latest Israeli films and presents the world’s finest contemporary cinematic trends. The Festival is also a meeting place for Israeli filmmakers and producers and hosts key members from the international film industry, thus encouraging and promoting international co-productions of Israeli feature projects. There are also workshops and professional master classes, as well as the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab.

Dozens of new films from all over the world will be screened at this year’s festival, at venues throughout Jerusalem. The opening event will be the outdoor screening at Sultan’s Pool of the film ‘Parasite’ by Korean director Bong Joon-ho, which won the Palme d’Or for Best Film at Cannes. The movie follows a poor family whose members infiltrate a wealthy family’s mansion until the plan goes awry.

International Fringe Festival in Beer Sheva

Street performances and shows from Israel and around the world, circus acrobats and jugglers, a shining parade, shows with audience participation, and much more – all in Beer Sheva’s Old City.

Sea of Music Festival in Eilat

The finest artists are coming to Eilat to entertain vacationers and make you dance: Eifo HaYeled, Mercedes Band, Full Trunk, Tuna and more. Free admission.

Red Sea Jazz Festival – Summer 2019

August 25-27, Eilat Port

The Red Sea Jazz Festival is one of Israel’s most important music festivals. This year’s performances include bassist Avishai Cohen with a new album, the award-winning Spanish artist Buika, saxaphonist Donny McCaslin, Flamenco singer Diego El Cigala, a tribute to trumpet player Roy Hargrove, a joint performance by Hava Alberstein and Shlomi Shaban, and more.

Kinneret Nights of Love Festival

August 15-25, Beit Gavriel Amphitheater

Kinneret Love Nights Festival returns for the fifth time to the north of the country, over two weekends, featuring Benaya Barbie, Hanan Ben Ari, Keren Peles, Yehuda Poliker, Shalom Hanoch and Mati Caspi.

Caesarea Nights of Love Festival

August 21-24, Caesarea Port

In the heart of the magical Caesarea Port, among the antiquities and elegant remains of the past, the Caesarea Love Nights Festival will open its gates for a second time, hosting Lola Marsh, The Angelcy, Eviatar Banai, Asaf Amdursky, Full Trunk, Tuna, and more.

Beit Guvrin Festival

August 15-24, Beit Guvrin’s Roman Amphitheater

The Beit Guvrin Festival, also known as “Nights of Love in the Roman Amphitheater,” is part of a month of Israeli performances, “In Love with Israeli Music,” produced by the Zappa group. It includes five evenings of performances featuring Israeli stars such as Dudu Tassa, Ehud Banai, Amir Dadon, Eviatar Banai, a joint performance by Hava Alberstein and Shlomi Shaban, and others.

Binyamina-Givat Ada International Film Festival

July 23-25, Binyamina-Givat Ada

This festival will take place for the third time this summer, and this year it will be devoted to travel, nature and food films. There will also be lectures, workshops, performances, etc… Highlights include a screening of “My Hero Brother” by director Yonatan Nir and a master class with the photographer Ronen Vaturi with a screening of his film “Journey to the Land of Bears” about a family of bears in Alaska. Free entrance.
