EasyJet Adds Hamburg to Its Flights From Tel Aviv
Flights to the northern German city will begin in early November, at a starting price of NIS 226, one-way Tel Aviv to Hamburg.
Hamburg, in northern Germany, will be the next destination for flights from Israel operated by low-cost carrier EasyJet, Globes has reported.

Tickets for the service, which will begin in early November, are already on sale at easyJet.com and the airline’s mobile application. Starting fares are €48.49 (226 shekels) for the Tel Aviv-Hamburg route (one direction, tax included) and €71.92 (335 shekels) from Hamburg to Tel Aviv (one direction, tax included.)
EasyJet will operate two weekly flights, on Mondays and Thursdays on the Hamburg route, using Airbus A320s with 180 seats.
Hamburg is the ninth destination flown by EasyJet from Israel. The others are London Luton, London Gatwick, Manchester, Basel, Geneva, Rome, Milan and Berlin.
Over 220,000 passengers have flown with EasyJet to and from Israel since January 2014.
“EasyJet continues with its plans to connect Tel Aviv with the airline’s bases around Europe," said the company's marketing director Sophie Dekkers. "Tel Aviv and Hamburg are two great cities to visit for leisure and business. I’m sure that our easy and affordable service will boost tourism between the two cities as happened with the other routes we've launched in Israel."
