Whether you want to party hard or get arty, here are some of the highlights for Tel Aviv's Pride Week.

The most exciting week for members of the LGBT community in Tel Aviv is already here, and the high point will be the Gay Pride Parade on Friday morning. A record number of about 130,000 people are expected to participate in the events in Tel Aviv, among them tens of thousands of tourists.

The parade will begin with a rally at 10 A.M., and the parade gets underway at 1 P.M. via Bograshov, Ben Yehuda and Frishman streets. Again, the parade will end with a big party at the beach, but this year a new location has been chosen: the Charles Clore park.
The show will be hosted by actress Moran Atias, and the main performance will be by Dana International, the first transgender singer to win the Eurovision Song Contest, 16 years ago. Following are all the activities, events, parties and hottest spots of the week.
Special Events
Tel Aviv Expo
June 8-12
For the first time ever, this year will feature a festival of gay culture in the Dizengoff Center, including a fair. The expo will be spread over 2,000 square meters and be divided into sections: health, design, fashion, tourism, family and business. There will also be events, performances, lectures, advice sessions, workshops, film screenings and a pop-up store.

The LGBT film festival – TLVFest
June 7-16
The annual festival combines screenings of films by gay artists or on LGBT subjects of interest. It will include encounters with filmmakers from Israel and abroad, workshops and special projects.

Jaffa Cycling Tour – cycling tour with a fun cocktail
June 14, 5:30 P.M.
A bicycle tour through the neighborhoods of Jaffa, which will include four stops and a cocktail, and is meant for tourists who come for Gay Pride Week.
The route: The tour begins at the Jaffa Promenade to Hilton Beach, Independence Park, Atarim Square, Ben-Gurion Boulevard, Hen Boulevard, Rothschild, Shabazi-Neve Tzedek, Jaffa Railway Station and back to Jaffa.
The Gay Culture Festival
June 12-28
The Gay Center in Gan Meir Park is holding the fifth gay culture festival. Every evening there will be plays and various shows on subjects related to the gay community.
TLV Gay Vibe – a nightlife tour
June 10, at 10 P.M.
A tour of Tel Aviv bars and places of entertainment. It will take place in the area of Rothschild Boulevard and includes entry to the bars and drink tastings. Length of the tour: about 2 hours; meeting place: The Kiosk, Rothschild corner with Herzl. Cost: 100 shekels

A tour in the footsteps of the gay community in Tel Aviv-Jaffa
June 12, at 8 P.M.
The tour will begin at the Expo in Dizengoff Center, and from there continue to Gan Meir, the Gay Center and the monument there in memory of gay people who were murdered in the Holocaust. From there the tour will continue via Sheinkin Park and end with a drink at the Evita Club. Length of the tour: about 1 ½ hours. Meeting place: Dizengoff Center, Gate 6. Cost: 100 shekels.

Parties
Throughout the week there will be hundreds of parties all over the city. Every day there are dozens of parties to choose from. Anyone who wants to find an full list should visit the website, which includes an events calendar and a description of parties according to date, type of music and target audience. Beach parties
At the gay beach – the Hilton Beach at the foot of the Hilton Hotel – there is a different beach party every day with the city’s leading lines and best DJs. The parties are held throughout the day until sunset. Entry is free. Upcoming parties:

Waterpark Tel Aviv Pride 2014
Thursday, June 12, from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M., at the Shefayim water park
For the first time there will be a huge party the day before the parade, held by Eliad Cohen’s Papa party line in the big water park north of Tel Aviv. The party will include international DJs, water slides, a huge slide pool and alcohol.
WOW TLV Pass 2014
There is cooperation between Shirazi’s BEEF line and Thomas’ FFF parties. You can buy a bracelet for 640 shekels ($185), which grants entry to all the parties.

Pride Week at the Evita Bar
The Pride celebrations at the most prominent gay bar in the city, Evita, will continue throughout the week. The owners promise to create evenings filled with music, alcohol and very special tourists.
Dreck + Pag at the Block
Friday June 13, 11:30 P.M., The Block
On Friday after the parade, there will be a party combining two of the leading lines in the city: Dreck and Pag, at The Block club. The party will be spread over the two dance floors.
Pride 1994
OCD, Friday June 13, 11:30 P.M.
The ’90s line 1994 is celebrating Pride Week at the OCD Club on Friday. Pop, dance and trash, and the electronics of the legendary clubs from that beloved decade.
Mega Pride: Girls’ Party
Saturday June 14, 8 P.M., Comfort 13
Mega Pride will be an especially joyful gay party for women, being held for the 11th year at Comfort 13.
Be Proud – Women’s Pride Party
Saturday June 14, 7 P.M., The Cat and Dog
The women’s party for the Be Proud celebrations of Pride 2014 on Saturday at The Cat and Dog will be spread over three dance floors with nine DJs. The special guest will be musical artist Koromoto, who is arriving from Berlin with a set of House and Techno.
