Culminating at 2,814 meters, Mount Hermon is Israel's highest mountain and offers Israel's only skiing site. The site's cable car begins at an altitude of 1600 and end at 2100. There is an observation point at 2248 meters. During the winter, one can ski, ride a cable car up the mountain, race down in extreme sleds or just play in the snow.

In early summer, when the snow disappears, an abundance of flowers and birds not visible elsewhere in Israel appears. There are free guided tours in summer that provide explanation on plants and the wildlife. Tours leave daily at 11:00 and 13:00 from the bottom cable car. Note that the cable car is not free of charge. The site also displays an extreme mountain sled, with a 950 meter long route across the Hermon. Its speed reaches up to 45 km per hour.
