Open on Saturdays, this colorful market is located within the Druze village of Daliat el-Carmel, high up on the slopes of Mount Carmel.
You can find unusual souvenirs and handcrafted items here and the market is surrounded by a variety of shops and a choice of restaurants selling authentic Druze dishes and the famous huge Druze pita bread.
Tours of the village's ancient quarter and the Legacy House are also available. The market also has several galleries where cultural evenings are held.
You can reach the market on bus no. 192, which leaves from the Central Bus Station in Haifa. Bus services are quite infrequent so check the schedule before departing.
