“If anyone asks, say that you’re from Albania.” This is what one Israeli who works with a prominent cyber company was told to say before they flew to Saudi Arabia, where his firm – just like the Israeli spyware NSO Group – does business. Israel does not have official ties with Saudi Arabia. But as last week’s bombshell Pegasus Project revealed, that doesn’t mean Israel is not selling its technology to the kingdom.
