Ashley Silber won the men’s division, Nikita Ben-Ami the ladies’ division and Amos Aharoni the super seniors in the 2016 Club Championships at the Gaash Golf Club this week.
An excellent participation of 72 golfers played in the two-day tournament.
Silber successfully defended his 2015 title, scoring an excellent 1 over par 71 on the first day. He played the front 9 in an even par 35 which included a birdie, 7 pars and a bogie, coming home in a 1 over 36, which included 8 pars and a bogie. On the second day, Ashley scored 76.
The runner-up was Amiram Zantkern.
The gross prize in the men’s B division went to Gadi Iram followed by David Amir. Daniel Peled was the winner in the C division with Elisha Hillel in second place. The three net prizes in the men divisions from A to C went to Yoav Shenhav, Hugo Wainstein and Yaakov Sabo, respectively.
Nikita Ben-ami was the ladies’ champion, followed by Judi Reefe with Hadasa Alon winning the net prize. The 2016 super seniors champion was Amos Aharoni, with Eddy Hoffman in second place and Brian Galgut winning the net prize.
The gross cup in the B division super seniors went to Dani Levin, with Dani Bendel the runner-up. Meanwhile, Meyer Iny claimed the net prize. Nearest to the pin prize went to Ben-ami, Aharoni, Galgut and Hoffman.
