Greg Elliot won a tight race with the best gross score this week at the March Monthly Medal at the Gaash Golf Club.

Playing in weather conditions that were reasonable in the morning but turned into howling winds in the afternoon, Elliot tied with Raphy Harroche and Zalman Shahaff on 79. However, Elliot won on the count back.

The A division was won by Shahaff on net 70, followed by Harroche.
Eli Gitlin took the B division on net 70, with Yehuda Levy finishing second.

Best score in the C division went to Ophra Dagan on net 72, followed by Meyer Iny.

Nearest to the pin prizes went to Gideon Hoch and Steve Taylor.

There was a field of 56 golfers playing in the tournament, which is also the first qualifying round of the Israeli net tournament to be held at the Gaash Golf Club, in early April.
