David Pachima, a recent immigrant from France who started playing golf just two years ago, beat out Assaf Lengy by two Stableford points to win the A division of the HSBC 9-holes tournament at the Gaash Golf Club this week.

140 players participated in three divisions.

Pachima finished with 26 points on a two-under par 33, which consisted of three birdies, five pars and a bogey. Pachima, who immigrated to Israel three years ago, practices on a regular basis under the guidance of local club professional David Goldenberg.

Lengy had a front nine one under par 34, which included four birdies, three pars , one bogey and a double bogey.

In the B division, Eli Abramov, Haim Revivo and Carmel Vernia were all on 22 points. First place on the count-back calculation went to Abramov followed by Revivo.

Dudi Shponder won the C division with 24 Stableford points, followed by Dannie Raichenberg on 21 points.
