Michael Cohen had the best gross score at the May Monthly Medal played at the Gaash Golf Club on Tuesday.
Cohen played the front nine in 38 strokes, which included one birdie, four pars and four bogeys. On the back nine, he improved slightly with one birdie, five pars and three bogeys to end with a total of 75. Nearly 60 golfers played in perfect conditions.
In the A division Lionel Philips took first place with a net 71, beating Dudu Tor on the count back.
The best net score of the day was Sharon Fridman in the B division with a net 67.
On net 68 were Brian Mehl and Adrienne Biberstein, with Mehl taking second place on the count back.
Gill Sadeghi won the C division on net 70 followed by Allan Gelman on net 71. Nearest to the pin prizes went to Anthony Harris and Dudu Tor.
Zadik Bino had his first hole-in-one on Friday on the par-3 fourth hole playing 119 meters. Witnessing this exiting moment were Ilan Mendelson, Shuky Zuk and Danny Herzog.
The Gaash golfers are looking forward to the charity tournament to be played on Monday in aid of scholarships for students at Tel Aviv University.
