The Israeli national under-21 soccer team is facing its Norwegian counterpart in the opening match of the Euro 2013 Championship – the first major soccer tournament to be held in Israel.
Ahead of kick-off, there was good news for Israeli coach Guy Luzon, with news that influential captain Nir Biton passed a late fitness test and would be available to play in the match.
