In tough cold and windy conditions the final Monthly Medal for 2013 was played at the Gaash Golf Club. Nearly 70 golfers participated with Greg Eliot playing excellent golf to score a gross 75, by far the best score of the day.

Greg’s front nine was a one over par 36, which included 2 birdies, 5 pars, a bogey and a double bogey and came home in 39, which included 5 pars and 4 bogeys.

The best net score in the A division was Lionel Philips on 69 followed by David Amir on 73. Sharon Fridman won the B division with a net 69 followed by Eddy Hoffman on 73. The C division champion was Albert Levy, who bested Jonathan Inbar.

Nearest to the pin prizes went to Michael Cohen and Antony Harris.

The Gaash Golf Club is hosting an exhibition game on Friday, December 27, featuring Israel’s international lady golfers Latetia Beck and Hadas Libman, who both college players in America will play. Gaash is also hosting candidates for the Olympics, where it is hoped that Latetia will represent Israel. The exhibition is open to the public.
