The Briut Modi’in Thundermuffins were defeated for the first time in over a year last Friday, but still successfully clinched the top seed in this year’s playoff tournament when they split a pair of games with second-seeded Shimon Swizzes.

The Billing ran their undefeated record to 12-0 by defeating the Frisch Cougars in a game that featured both teams’ backup quarterbacks. The Startup Center and Nicodrops Vapor also won two games, to improve their place in the standings by four points.

In other action, GWC defeated and tied with MMJ, to pick up three points and move into the top-15, while Pizzeria Efrat and Joe’s Eagles split a pair of games, as did Tzionim and Jerry’s Kids.

Three still undefeated in Women’s AFI

The fifth week of competition saw two of the league’s undefeated teams lose for the first time this season: Yachad Midmo was shut out by Paige’s Lakers, and New York Bake Shop was mauled by Mishaan Plumbers. Only Big Blue, Metro Yachad and the aforementioned Plumbers are left without a blemish.

Several teams played two games this week. Paige’s Lakers dropped a game to Eden’s Eagles before defeating Yachad Midmo; Michdonalds edged the Jays by a point and defeated DB Beasts by a touchdown; and Mishaan Plumbers shut out Crossroads and New York Bake Shop by a combined score of 63-0. One other game featured Ziontours and Kosher Casual playing to a 6-6 tie.
