Authorities in southern Israel backtracked on Monday evening, saying that no rocket had, in fact, been fired from Gaza.
The Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council earlier said that a projectile had landed without any warning sirens sounding.
The military also issued a statement, saying that it had not observed any rockets being fired from Gaza.
