An Electra Air plane came in for an emergency landing on Monday afternoon at Israel's Ben-Gurion Airport. 

After the Electra Air flight's takeoff from Cologne, Germany, remnants of one of its tires were found on the tarmac.

152 people were on board the plane. The aircraft is leased and it is based in Israel.

Israeli fighter jets examined the plane as it approached, after which it made a successful landing.
