A Palestinian teen has reportedly died after being shot during clashes with the Israeli army in the West Bank, Palestinian health services said.

The 16-year-old reportedly suffered serious head wounds during the clashes, which took place north of Ramallah.
According to Palestinian eye witnesses present at the Almugayer village, an Israeli force entered the village in the early afternoon, most likely as part of raid in which arrests were supposed to take place. Clashes then broke out, with dozens of Palestinian youths attacking soldiers with stones and firebombs.
According to one witness, a soldier then shot the teen from a relatively close range and the latter was hit in the head. The teen, identified as Blayit Haytam Abu Naim, was taken to a Palestinian hospital in Ramallah were he was operated on but late succumbed to his wounds.
According to the army, there was a protest involving 30 Palestinians who attacked soldiers with stones and burning tires. Forces attempted to disperse the protest, but did not use live fire. The army said it was aware of the Palestinian claims and was "examining them" and an investigation would take place. They military streesed that while riot dispersal means were used, these did not include life fire.
