A young Palestinian was killed Friday morning in clashes with Israeli forces in the West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, over 100 Palestinians were outside the village of Nabi Saleh in the West Bank and were throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
According to the army, one person was wounded from a Ruger bullet - a live round considered to have a limited impact. They later said an additional Palestinian was shot with a rubber bullet and required medical care.
The Palestinian identified the youth as 20-year-old Saba Nadal Abid, who reportedly sustained critical wounds after being shot in the chest and later died in a local hospital.
Palestinians also report clashes in the village of Beita, not far from Nablus, with dozens reportedly suffering from tear gas inhalation. Reports also said one Palestinian was seriously wounded after sustaining a head wound from IDF fire.
