Palestinian Woman Tries to Stab Settler, Shot by Israeli Troops

The woman sustains critical wounds; no other casualties reported.

A Palestinian woman attempted to stab a settler in the Givat Avot neighborhood of Hebron on Sunday, but was shot and critically wounded by Israeli troops. No other casualties were reported.

The Palestinian woman was rushed for to a Jerusalem hospital. 

Earlier Sunday, a Palestinian man was indicted for a stabbing attack that killed two Israelis in southern Tel Aviv last month.  

Raad Halil, 36, was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder. According to the prosecution, he sought "to murder Jews with a knife" in order to become a martyr. He has 

On Friday, an attempted car-ramming attack near Hebron was foiled after the driver was shot and killed at the scene, near Halhul junction. Hours earlier, shots were fired at the West Bank's Gilboa crossing. None were wounded, and the assailant was shot and initially fled before being apprehended by Palestinian security forces.

Also on Friday, the Shin Bet arrested the Palestinian assailant behind Thursday's car-ramming attack that wounded four Israeli soldiers, one seriously.
