At Monday’s cabinet meeting, Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev suddenly turned to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said: “You’re a great leader, even though some people in this country don’t like saying so or broadcasting it. But the truth must be told, you deserve being told: You have done us a great service, with much pride and dignity. I followed the reports of your deeds there and the honor you were given [in India], how you were treated like a king in India. It’s moving to the point of tears, thank you so much for what you’re doing for the state of Israel. I wish you many more years of activity.”

Netanyahu responded, saying: “Thank you very much, Miri, thank you. In the future we’ll refrain from outbursts.”
