A man was stabbed outside a mall in Jerusalem on Sunday, emergency services report. The attacker has been shot and wounded by security forces.
The man, 30, is reported to suffer serious wounds. He has been evacuated for medical care in a Jerusalem hospital.
Israeli Police has confirmed the stabbing was criminally motivated.
Reports say the man was stabbed in Pierre Koenig street in Jerusalem. A police officer present at the scene opened fire and incapacitated the suspect. Emergency services report the attacker, 35, was shot in the limbs and remains conscious.
