The police have been carrying out an extensive search for a suspicous man in Tel Aviv on Sunday that also extended into neighboring  Ramat Gan.

The search was prompted by a report by security guards at the Meimadion water park next to Yarkon park who spotted a man whom they thought was suspicious. When they called out to him, he is said to have fled.

As far as is known, there is no intelligence information about the suspect, whom police are continuing to look for in the adjacent Tel Aviv neighborhood of Hadar Yosef, with the help of a helicopter.

Train traffic between Bnei Brak and the Tel Aviv University station was halted for a time Sunday in connection with the search, but service then resumed.
