Israeli Wounded in West Bank Stabbing South of Jerusalem

Attacker flees scene, security forces on their way, Border Police say


A 35-year-old Israeli man was lightly wounded in a stabbing in the West Bank, emergency services reported.

The attacker fled the scene and security forces were on their way, Border Police said.

The incident took place at the near Beit Jala, a Palestinian town located between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

Initial reports said the man suffered wounds to his head, noting that he was fully conscious.
