Israeli Tank Fires Into Gaza in Response to Gunfire on Army Troops

No injuries were reported on the Israeli side, IDF says

An Israel Defense Forces tank has fired into the Gaza Strip, in response to earlier gunfire at Israeli forces from the enclave.

There were no injuries on the Israeli side, the army reported.

Also on Thursday morning, the Palestinian Authority said that it will stop paying for the electricity that Israel provides to the Hamas-controlled Strip. The move is effective immediately, and in order for Gaza residents to continue receiving power, international or private agencies will have to cover the costs
