Israeli Clocks to Jump Forward for Daylight Savings Time

Israelis will move their clocks forward an hour on Thursday night marking Daylight Savings Time.

At 2 A.M. on Friday, clocks will be moved forward to 3 A.M. and the summer time schedule will last under October 29, 2017.

In 2013, the Knesset approved a lengthening of the summer time schedule to match that of Europe's. According to the decision, Daylight Savings Time will begin on the Friday before the last Sunday of March until the last Sunday of October.
Smartphone and tablet owners should check that their devices are set to undergo the time shift automatically.
