The Israel Air Force struck targets in the Gaza Strip early on Monday. According to reports in the Strip, the strike targeted sites associated with Hamas.

The strike comes in the wake of two incidents of gunfire from Gaza targeting Israeli military vehicles on the border with the enclave. On Saturday, a D9 tractor was hit by gunshots, and on Friday a jeep on patrol was targeted in a similar incident. No injuries were reported in either case.

The IAF last struck Gaza targets two weeks ago, in response to a rocket that was fired toward Israel and exploded in an open area.
