Israeli soldiers from the home front command unit took part in a drill on Wednesday simulating a non-conventional attack at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in the southern city of Be'er Sheva.
An IDF spokesperson said that the drill, held on the last day of the 4th International Conference on Healthcare System Preparedness and Response to Emergencies and Disasters, simulated a chemical attack with mass casualties and their evacuation to a trauma center for decontamination and further treatment. Civilian emergency teams participated in the drill alongside the soldiers.
