First time in Israel, Jonathan?

Yes. I landed today and I’m taking off in another few hours.

Doesn’t sound like fun.

No, it wasn’t. I was supposed to get here two weeks ago, to document events related to Anzac Day. I’m a military photographer. But I got sick with coronavirus just before the flight, so I stayed in Australia while my colleagues were here taking pictures and traveling around. Now I’m waiting for them to arrive and we’ll go to Egypt together for another week.
