An attempt to hack into Jerusalem's municipal servers brought the city's digital services down on Friday.

The city said it took down its website and other services as a preventative measure as information security experts worked to block the hackers.
Earlier this week, hackers attempted to target a new server the city is testing with ransomware, an attack that the city said it has taken care of.
