Gal Gadot to Voice Wonder Woman Character in Lego Movie 2

The Lego Movie will not be Gadot's first venture into animation, as the Israeli star recently voiced herself in an episode of The Simpsons and portrayed a race driver in 'Ralph Breaks the Internet'

Israel star Gal Gadot won't be back on the big screen in 2020, with the expected release of "Wonder Woman 1984," but eager fans don't have to wait that long to hear her voice: Several U.S. entertainment sites are reporting that Gadot will dub the character of Princess Dianna in the Lego sequel.

The Lego Movie 2 is scheduled for release next month in the U.S. and in April in Israel and will feature the character of Wonder Woman, also known as Princess Dianna.

Gadot's acclaimed performances as Wonder Woman turned her into a star around the world. Gadot recently completed the filming for the sequel, "Wonder Woman 1984," and published a photo of herself in costume on Instagram.

The Lego Movie will not be Gadot's first venture into animation. She recently voiced herself in an episode of The Simpsons and portrayed the voice of a race driver in "Ralph Breaks the Internet."

It was also reported recently that Gadot is in talks to star as Hollywood legend Hedy Lamarr in a TV series for American cable channel Showtime and that she is set to star in a new film version by Kenneth Branagh of Agatha Christie's "Death On The Nile."
