Four Palestinians were killed in a car crash in the South Hebron Hills early on Wednesday. Two cars collided on Route 60 after one of them veered into oncoming traffic. One of the cars was a European Union vehicle. The accident occurred near the West Bank settlement of Otniel.

Three passengers were declared dead at the site of the crash. The Red Crescent evacuated two wounded Palestinians to the hospital, but one of them, who was in critical condition, succumbed to his wounds.

All four victims were residents of the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, situated nearby.

Magen David Adom emergency responders and an Israeli army medical team were working alongside the Red Crescent at the accident scene.

Police are investigating the accident.
